Position Overview
At CPH we believe Operations is at the heart of our business. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics processes. You will work closely with the logistics team and serve as the primary logistics contact for the sales department. Your responsibilities will include planning, organizing, monitoring, and following up on various logistics activities. Additionally, you will assist in negotiating freight and storage agreements and provide solutions to any logistical challenges that may arise.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including shipment planning, transportation, and warehousing.

Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

Monitor and track shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Assist in negotiating freight rates and storage agreements with carriers and warehouses.

Prepare and present detailed calculations and reports related to logistics activities.

Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the logistics process.

Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and activities.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve logistics operations.
Qualifications

Higher Professional Education (HBO) work and thinking level.

Proficiency in Dutch and English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).

Basic understanding of INCOTERMS and VAT obligations.

Eager to learn, with a genuine interest in international logistics and trade

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Support:

Certificates of Analysis (COA): Establish and maintain minimum specifications for COAs to guarantee product quality.
Product Management:

Product Specifications: Maintain detailed and accurate product specifications documentation.

Claims Management: Handle product claims by analysing issues and implementing improvements to prevent recurrence.
Training & Reporting:

Training: Conduct training sessions on quality control measures and product applications to ensure team competency.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports detailing quality assessments and market research findings.
Qualifications

Higher Professional Education (HBO) work and thinking level.

Proficiency in Dutch and English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).

Chemical background or knowledge is a plus.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
